The Need of Evangelism

Jesus lived in a day somewhat like ours.  Palestine had been overrun by Rome. The bewildered people were asking, “What can we do? Where is the way out?” The sensualists answered, “There is no way out”. So, eat, drink, and conform to the world. If you can’t beat them, join them.  The Sadducees said, there is no God, or else He would not have allowed this world to become the shape it is in. There is no “Heaven, hell, or hope after.” The Pharisees withdrew themselves apart in complete isolation. The Publicans said, “Let’s get rich while the getting is good.” The Zealots said, “Let’s have a revolution. Let’s make Jesus, the miracle worker, our King.”

But Jesus spoke the answer to the sin soaked world. “Repent, change your ways. For the Kingdom of God is at hand. Follow me, because I am the way, truth, and the life.”
Jesus went out under this magnificent obsession to seek and to save the lost.

Only Christ’s philosophy of life will solve all the problems of individuals and nations, whether they be economic troubles, unjust social conditions, or serious international difficulties.

We as Christians are the distributors of the saving salt of society. Our most priceless possibility is to add glory to Christ through leading others to love and obey Jesus!

It’s a privilege to serve you,

They have been married for twenty five years and have three beautiful children. They now reside in North Carolina where Lloyd and Pam pastor World Worship Church. Lloyd is a worshipper of Jesus Christ. This is clearly seen, heard, and felt through the praise and worship songs which he writes and sings.
