Let the Church be the Church

Jesus spoke these words, ‘Upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’
These are powerful words that has always been backed up.

The Church is God’s earthly ordained institution of hope, and life. It is the body of Christ upon the earth. The Church is described as ‘she,’ because we also know that ‘she’ is the bride of Christ.

Everything stemmed out of the Church from music to politics. She is the lighthouse for lonely and broken lives passing in the night. She is the heart and conscious not only of this great country of ours, but of our Heavenly Father.

The enemy of our souls is trying his dead level best to make the Church a non-relevant entity. Even in our governments, local and federal, on both sides of the isle, there is a movement, it seems, to push and bully the Church to the side, but we are the ‘called out ones,’ who will love the unlovable, bring healing to the broken hearted, and salvation to the lost. So, no matter what the secular world tries to make a non-issue (the Church) we are firm on our convictions that we will march on and wave the banner of victory, because we know that the only hope for this world is the Gospel of Jesus being proclaimed through the Church of Jesus Christ.

So I say, let the Church be the Church!’ Let’s be the social conscience, let’s be the sinner’s hope, let’s be the source for the hungry, poor, and thirsty, because we represent Jesus Christ, the Savior of all!

It’s a privlege to serve you
